From June 1st to 30th 2026, join Francophiles from all around the world – of all ages and all levels – as we engage our brains 🧠 and boost our ability to speak and understand real, everyday French👂.
In this challenge, you’ll improve your spoken French 🗣️ as we dive into the conversations that matter most — the ones about YOU ! From introducing yourself with confidence and talking about your passions 💛 to describing the people you love, your life’s work, and the personal stories only you can tell, you’ll discover how to express who you really are in French — naturally, warmly, and without freezing up. ✨
Every 6 days, we’ll cover a new topic with content that helps you learn the vocabulary 📚, expressions 💬, and pronunciation 👄 you’d actually use the next time a French person asks — “Et toi, tu fais quoi dans la vie ?” 🇫🇷
But what you’ll learn isn’t just useful for travel ✈️. You’ll build lasting skills in real, everyday spoken French, with a special focus on personal expression, natural conversation flow, and the kind of vocabulary that sticks because it’s about your own life 🧠.

Here's how it works
Every 6 days, we'll unlock a new "chapter", each focusing on a different piece of who you are - so you can talk about yourself, your life, and the people you love with more confidence and more natural French every step of the way.
Chapter 1: Bonjour, c’est moi
👋 Master the art of introducing yourself in French — your name, where you live, and why you’re there — the way a real French person would actually say it. You’ll move beyond the stiff, textbook phrases and learn to open a conversation with warmth, confidence, and a little personality ✨.
Chapter 2: Mes passions
Learn to talk about the things you love — your hobbies, interests, and what lights you up — with the kind of enthusiasm that makes conversations come alive 🎨. You’ll pick up natural expressions that go far beyond “j’aime…” and start sounding like someone who actually enjoys what they’re talking about 🗣️.
Chapter 3: Les gens que j’aime
Discover how to describe the people closest to you — your family, your friends, the ones who matter most — in a way that feels warm and real, not like a grammar exercise 💬. You’ll learn the vocabulary and phrases that let you share who you are through the people you love 👨👩👧👦.
Chapter 4: Tu fais quoi dans la vie ?
💼Whether you’re still working or enjoying a well-earned retirement, learn how to talk about your professional life — or your life’s work — in French with ease and confidence. You’ll find the words to explain what you do, what you did, and what that means to you, without getting stuck searching for the right phrase 🧠.
Chapter 5: Tu sais quoi ?
🌟 Finally, learn to tell a true personal story from start to finish — the kind that makes people lean in and listen 👂. You’ll practice the connectors, the pacing, and the everyday expressions that turn a simple anecdote into a real French conversation ☕.
Each chapter follows a structured yet fun 6-day schedule:
DAY 1: Watch a short video 🎥 in French (with English subtitles!) and follow along with the transcript 📄.
DAY 2: Repeat after me 👄 Practice sentences that you can use to talk about yourself
DAY 3: Listen to a French dialogue 🎧 with a neighbor. Can you repeat what you hear? 🔁
DAY 4: More French dialogue 🎧, this time at a friend’s gathering 🗣️✨
DAY 5: Time for a short quiz! ❓ What do you understand so far? Let’s check in and celebrate your progress 🎉
DAY 6: We’ll play a fun game 🎲 and you’ll get a chance to explore resources for fun
🔁 We repeat this schedule for 5 chapters — each one focused on a new element of personal, meaningful French conversations!
And at the end of the Challenge, you’ll take a final quiz to see just how far you’ve come 🧠🥳

The 30-Day French Challenge is not designed for complete beginners. Ideally you will have studied some French before (even if for just one semester in school 40 years ago).

Salut ! Moi c’est Géraldine Lepère.
I’m a French woman (Paris-born, now living in the Alps) with a passion for sharing my love for French language and culture! I started Comme une Française in 2012 and have since helped more than 13,100 alumni learn to confidently understand and speak real, modern French through my paid programs – not to mention taught more than 7 million French learners through my weekly YouTube lessons.
Born to a French father and Mexican mother, I know the challenges and desire to blend into life in a foreign country. After two years of living in the UK, I knew that going beyond just grammar is essential to fitting in and feeling at home wherever you are.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to complete the daily challenges?
As long as you need. There is no time pressure to complete the ‘challenge of the day’. If you need to skip a day or two, or if you’d rather cover an entire chapter’s worth of content every Sunday morning, that’s okay! None of the content is delivered live, and all of the content will remain available after the challenge has completed, so you can catch up whenever it works best for you.
Will I still have access to the material after the 30 days?
Yes, you will continue to have access to the content after the Challenge is over. As with all of our courses, you retain lifetime access!
I've done a Challenge before. Do I need to create a new account?
If you joined a Challenge since April of 2025, if you already own one of our premium courses, and/or are a member of The French Conversation Club, you’re all set! You’ll be able to log in with the same account and access everything in one place.
Otherwise, you will need to create a new account on our private course platform when you join the Challenge.
