Here’s quick preview of the topics we’ll be covering together:

Chapter 2: Ile de Ré Next, we’ll travel to Ile de Ré, an island off the west coast of France. It’s popular among cyclists 🚴 for its many bike paths that go through vineyards 🍇, salt marshes, and small villages 🏡.

Chapter 3: Les ArdennesThen we’ll visit Les Ardennes, a region with a lot of history 📜 and natural beauty. We’ll explore its ancient forest 🌲, which is great for hiking 🥾, as well as the region’s important role in both World Wars 🎖️.

Chapter 4: GivernyFinally, we’ll make a stop in Giverny, in Normandy. This town is best known as the final home of painter Claude Monet 🎨, and it has many beautiful gardens 🌷 and water lily ponds 💧 that inspired his famous paintings.

How to get quick answers to your questions

We love hearing from you and seeing you connect with your fellow Challengers. Here are some guidelines to help you get the most out of the 30-day French Challenge and the fastest answers to any questions you may have.

  • To ask a question or comment on a lesson:  Use the comments section for the day’s lesson, and a member of our team will reply to it as soon as we can. This is also a great place to tell us what you learned, answer a question that was asked in the lesson, and support and encourage your fellow students. (Please keep commentary focused on lesson related topics.) Don’t be afraid to write in French, even if you make mistakes. ❤️
  • To get technical or account support:  Please email us at  help@commeunefrancaise.com . We will not answer technical or account questions in the comments sections of lessons (it becomes messy and confusing for everyone!). 🛠️

I look forward to spending the next 30 days with you, helping you improve your French and learn more about French culture!

See you soon!
