Over the next 30 days, we’re going to explore a daily challenge to help you get better at speaking real, everyday spoken French. Each activity should take no more than 15 minutes a day.

Our Theme & Dates

The content for this ‘French Riviera’ edition of the 30-Day French Challenge will be delivered from Friday, August 1st until Saturday, August 30th.

Here’s quick preview of the topics we’ll be covering together:

CHAPTER 1: Nice — La Dolce Vita

We’ll start our journey in the capital of the Riviera, walking along the Promenade des Anglais 👟 and soaking up all of the sunshine ☀️, delicious Mediterranean cuisine 🐟, and elegance 💎 that Nice has to offer.

CHAPTER 2: Monaco & Saint-Tropez — Le Glamour

Next, we’ll explore the most glamorous side of the Riviera 💍. From luxurious yachts ⛵ and Michelin-starred restaurants ⭐ to world-famous events 🏎️ and five-star views 🌊, it’s easy to see why these are much-loved destinations for celebrities 🤩.

CHAPTER 3: Cassis — La Beauté des Paysage

Moving on to Cassis, an old fishing port 🎣 that is easily a top vacation spot for French people and tourists alike 🧳 thanks to its many beaches 🏖️, vineyards 🍇, hiking trails 🥾 and more.

CHAPTER 4: Grasse — Une Histoire Millénaire

Next, we’ll visit the perfume capital of the world — Grasse! 🌸 With its fertile grounds 🌱 and long history of cultivating aromatic plants 👃,  this Riviera town is rich in both history and culture.

CHAPTER 5: Cannes — Au Coeur du Cinéma

Finally, we’ll end our tour of the Riviera in the star-struck city of Cannes 📽️. We’ll discuss the famous film festival 🎬 but also discover the resort city’s beaches 🩴 and promenades before visiting Le Suquet – a charming, medieval part of town 🏠.

If you haven’t done so already, you will need to purchase this course to receive access to the Challenge once it starts.
