Welcome to the September 2025 Challenge! 👋
I’m so glad that you decided to join us. 🥰
Over the next 30 days, we’re going to explore a daily challenge to help you get better at speaking real, everyday spoken French. Each activity should take no more than 15 minutes a day.
Our Theme & Dates
The content for this ‘ French Riviera ‘ edition of the 30-Day French Challenge will be delivered from Monday, September 1st until Tuesday, September 30th .
Here’s quick preview of the topics we’ll be covering together:
Chapter 1: French Wine Culture
We’ll start the month by diving into France’s rich wine-making history. 🍷 I’ll even share resources to help you enjoy and appreciate French wine at home! 🏠
Chapter 2: Champagne
We’ll then start our exploration of the French wine regions in the famous Champagne region. 🥂 You’ll discover the 300+ champagne houses here 🍾, and learn more about what makes the region so special. ✨
Chapter 3: Bordeaux
Next, we’ll explore the home of some of the world’s most prestigious wines – Bordeaux! 🤩 This region’s rich history, unique terroir, and innovation make it an internationally-recognized wine destination. 🌍
Chapter 4: Bourgogne
We’ll then move on to Burgundy, which is famous for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. 🍇 Get to know the region’s unique limestone soils and centuries-old winemaking traditions. 🧐
Chapter 5: Alsace

How to get quick answers to your questions
We love hearing from you and seeing you connect with your fellow Challengers. Here are some guidelines to help you get the most out of the 30-day French Challenge and the fastest answers to any questions you may have.
- To ask a question or comment on a lesson: Use the comments section for the day’s lesson, and a member of our team will reply to it as soon as we can. This is also a great place to tell us what you learned, answer a question that was asked in the lesson, and support and encourage your fellow students. (Please keep commentary focused on lesson related topics.) Don’t be afraid to write in French, even if you make mistakes. ❤️
- To get technical or account support: Please email us at help@commeunefrancaise.com . We will not answer technical or account questions in the comments sections of lessons (it becomes messy and confusing for everyone!). 🛠️
I look forward to spending the next 30 days with you, helping you improve your French and learn more about French culture!
See you soon!
